Commissioners approve point of sale system for Turkey Creek

City commissioners approved a point of sale system for the Turkey Creek Golf Course during Monday’s meeting. Turkey Creek golf professional John Hastert informed commissioners that the system should be much more reliable for tracking fees, reports and data, as well as coordinating tournaments. The cost of the system is $10,000. Commissioners were also informed by Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Anne Hassler that Biking Across Kansas has listed McPherson as a stop on its 2011 route. FD maintains position as top adviser to AIM listed companies
