Shehnai at The Olympia Ballroom will be used as a venue for a series of comedy, music and theatre acts during Fringe week. The BBC should do all it can to keep the Six Nations free to air in English and Welsh, former Plaid Cymru leader Dafydd Wigley has urged.
The peer stressed the national importance of the tournament in a letter to BBC director-general Tony Hall.
