Pendower House: Grade II listed Newcastle building up for auction in London

One of the most historic country houses in Newcastle could be sold at auction this afternoon. Pendower House in West Road, Benwell, is expected to fetch £370,000 when it goes under the hammer on Monday. The Grade II listed building was built for Victorian banker J W Pearce in 1867 and includes a line of Hadrian’s Wall. It was put up for auction by Newcastle City Council.
