A war memorial at a Huddersfield hospital has been commemorated. The memorial has been added to the List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest The Holme, Holmfirth and New Mill Memorial Cross is sited on the NHS Property Services-owned site, Holme Valley Memorial Hospital in Huddersfield. A grade two-listed gate on Eldon Square was left in ruins on Wednesday after a car smashed into it. The east gate to Eldon Square, Reading, was damaged by the 4x4 Subaru on September 2 at 10.25am.
