Northfield’s Black Horse pub listed by English Heritage

REAL ale fans and beer connoisseurs in South Birmingham and beyond raised a glass in celebration after the historic Black Horse pub was listed by English Heritage. War memorial gets listed status at hospital

A war memorial at a Huddersfield hospital has been commemorated. The memorial has been added to the List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest The Holme, Holmfirth and New Mill Memorial Cross is sited on the NHS Property Services-owned site, Holme Valley Memorial Hospital in Huddersfield. Grade II-listed Eldon Square gates smashed by car

A grade two-listed gate on Eldon Square was left in ruins on Wednesday after a car smashed into it. The east gate to Eldon Square, Reading, was damaged by the 4x4 Subaru on September 2 at 10.25am. The damage was seen by people in Reading, who took to the Reading Forum to share their thoughts. The Duke of Edinburgh has been awarded Grade II listed status. The pub was built on Ferndale Road in 1936 by the Truman Brewery.
