AIM-listed advice firm accepts £258m takeover bid

National advice firm Jelf Group has agreed to be taken over by insurance broker Marsh that has valued the company at around £258 million. Under the terms of the acquisition, which is subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval, Marsh will acquire the entire share capital of Jelf and give each Jelf shareholder 215 pence per share, which values the company at around £258 million. Grosvenor pub in Stockwell listed as Asset of Community Value as CAMRA calls …

The Grosvenor pub on Sidney Road in Stockwell has been successfully listed by the Campaign for Real Ale as an Asset of Community Value with Lambeth Council. This means that should the historic pub ever be placed for sale, CAMRA will have a six month moratorium period in which to prepare a market value bid. Listed bridge ‘nearing collapse’ due to HGVs

A 200-year-old bridge between Adderbury and King’s Sutton is on the verge of collapse following excessive use by HGVs driving across it, it has been claimed.
