Teachers at a Birmingham school are celebrating after being short-listed for a prestigious award. Staff at Kings Norton Girls’ School have been nominated for the ‘Maths Team of the Year’ gong at the TES School Awards. The awards recognise the outstanding contribution to education made by teams and individuals at schools. A Cardiff library is set to close because the cost of repairing the failing building is too high.
