Plans for 140 new houses

Craigavon is to get another new housing development, the ‘MAIL’ has learned. According to the latest planning applications, 
plans are afoot to build 140 new homes in the 
area.The dwellings are earmarked for property across from Brownlow Integrated School. The development is expected to fringe between the Tullygally Road and Brownlow Road and it will be 
adjacent to Lismore

Planning officer criticises bid to demolish Odiham pub and replace with homes …

A bid to demolish a pub and replace it with retirement townhouses and apartments has come under fire from a planning officer. Savills has submitted a pre-application scheme for the redevelopment of The Crown Inn site, in Alton Road, Odiham, on behalf of Hexon Developments. The developer wants to knock down the pub, which became an Indian restaurant before closing in September, and build nine town houses and apartments.
