New economic crash fears as British families run £40bn deficit

Work to start on Newsome Mills after seven years of decay

A part of Huddersfield’s industrial heritage - labelled a “Sleeping Giant” - could be about to get a new lease of life. Developers wanting to convert the Newsome Mills site into a residential project have indicated that work is due to commence in 2016.
