Time Inc puts Blue Fin building up for sale for more than £400m

The publisher of Marie Claire and NME has put its London headquarters, the Blue Fin building near Tate Modern, up for sale with a price tag of more than £400m. Time Inc is expecting a premium price for the property, which it describes as a “marquee” building, and intends to remain a tenant following the sale. A Chester County man accused of stealing two kayaks from a woman’s backyard this weekend was arrested on Sunday while attempting to sell the stolen property back to the owner, according to police records. The woman arranged to meet the accused thief to buy the two kayaks – and lead police to him – after her son found the stolen kayaks listed for sale on Facebook, an incident report states. Manor house that inspired Thomas Hardy goes on sale for £3.25m

Hardy called it a “crumbling place” with a “grey, weather-worn” façade. “The rambling and neglected dwelling had all the romantic excellencies and practical drawbacks which such mildewed places share in common with caves, mountains, wildernesses [and] glens,” he wrote.
