Ascential to go for London listing

People Also Read Media company and i2i Events owner, Ascential has announced plans for a listing on the London stock market. Analysts estimate such a move would value the company, formed from the ashes of Emap, at £800m. Ascential has reduced its debt burden that was put at around £700m when it was acquired by Apax and Guardian Media Group in 2008 for £1bn, to around £410m today. The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) announces the listing of 500,000 bonds (Maturity 2023) of UK company All Saints Commercial Plc with a nominal value of £1 at a listing price of £1. The securities will be traded in Sterling Pound (£) and will commence trading on January 15 2016. The parent company of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has confirmed its intention to do an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. DIY cold war nuclear bunker in Norfolk given Grade II listed status

A DIY nuclear bunker built in a back garden during the cold war has been given protected status. Despite being constructed of mainly secondhand materials such as reinforced concrete, steel and brick, the one-storey bunker in Taverham, Norfolk, featured creature comforts including a spa bath and carpets. The shelter was built by Noel Barrett in an area of private woodland in his back garden in 1982, at the height of cold war tension, to protect him and his family in the event of nuclear fall-out.
