Bank buys back office building at small fraction of listed sheriff’s sale price – Tribune

A Penn Hills office building listed for $10.2 million was sold back to a bank for far less at a sheriff's sale this month. U.S. Bank National Association, which holds the mortgage on the property, purchased the building at 10 Duff Road for $1,238 during the sheriff's sale on Jan. 4, according to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office website.
