Campaigners will try to get listed status for building earmarked for student flats

Campaigners hope to get a Liverpool city centre roller rink building listed to protect it from plans to knock it down for student accommodation. Love Canning, a forum representing those who live in the Georgian Quarter , is set to apply for the community asset listing after supporters met to discuss proposals for the old Rodney Youth Centre. BIG FOUR rivals KPMG and PwC have dominated the listed audit market over the last decade, according to the 2015 corporate adviser ranking guide. Over the last ten years, KPMG has ousted PwC from top spot by way of client numbers, though PwC remains by far and away the most successful auditor when judged by the aggregate market-cap of its clients. Bats and mud hold up work on old War Memorial Hospital development

Demolition work at Melton’s former War Memorial Hospital site looks set to begin in March despite bats and muddy conditions holding up progress.
