Oxfam urges listed Hong Kong companies to do more to improve society

Aid agency Oxfam has urged listed companies in Hong Kong to put more effort into improving society, saying such initiatives could help enhance their brands and attract investors. Northfield’s Black Horse pub listed by English Heritage

REAL ale fans and beer connoisseurs in South Birmingham and beyond raised a glass in celebration after the historic Black Horse pub was listed by English Heritage. The decision was taken to list 21 pubs in the country built between the two World Wars, but the Northfield hostelry, on Bristol Road South, was the only one to be given Grade II listed status. Historic building to village hub

Turning a 15th century building into a vibrant village hub - the Courtyard Cafe - has won a top ‘highly commended’ award for a team of Rotherfield designers. The award was presented to Tangent Space run by Mark Wakelin at a gala dinner. Mark was approached by Anne and Geoff Evans who dreamt of converting a delapidated listed High Street building.
