PLANS have been submitted to convert a derelict Bradford pub into three houses. Developers want to turn the Duke of York Inn in Dean Lane, Thornton, which closed its doors in late 2012, into two three-bedroom properties, and a single bedroom house. Las Vegas Home Sales, Prices Continue to Climb Annually

According to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR), local home sales and prices continued to increase in July 2015, compared to the same time last year.  GLVAR reported the median price of homes sold through its Multiple Listing Service during July was $218,000, up 9.0 percent from $200,000 one year ago. Ninety homes approved for land at Countess of Chester Hospital

An application for 90 houses on the Countess of Chester Hospital site has been approved. NHS Property Services now want to sell off the land, just off Upton Grange, to a developer. Cheshire West and Chester Council’s planning committee approved the application on August 4. Initially the main objection to the plans was the lack of affordable housing, but 30% of the new homes have now been designated as such. City centre listed building to be turned into offices

A FORMER office building on Ingram Street has been sold by the city council for £4.2million. The seven storey red sandstone building, which is category B listed, was built in 1898 and was previously partly owned by the Health Board.
