Ann Arbor Country Club listed for sale by West Virginian investment group

This story has been updated Five years after being bought by a West Virginia-based investment group following a lender-forced sale, the Ann Arbor Country Club is once again on the market. Victoria Park is to be granted official status as an asset to the community after winning the support of councillors. Hartlepool United Supporters Trust nominated the ground to be listed by Hartlepool Borough Council as an official Asset of Community Value. Aldershot’s The Palace set to reopen as entertainment venue, restaurant and bar

A former Aldershot cinema-turned-nightclub is set to reopen as an entertainment venue, restaurant and bar, one street away from where a similar site will launch. Farnborough-based Gurkha Event Planner (GEP) has secured a 15-year lease for The Palace, in Station Road, which has been empty since 2011 when its owner put it up for sale.
