Hampshire Food Festival kicks off with month’s worth of tasty events

TODAY sees the launch of the Hampshire Food Festival – a month long feast of flavoursome events. There are more than 75 events ranging from farm and vineyard tours, jam and chocolate making classes, cooking demonstrations and picnics. THE SALE of a historic hospital has boosted healthcare and raised more than half a million pounds for the NHS according to heath bosses. They say selling part of Fordingbridge Hospital raised £550,000 of vital funds for the health service. The cash has gone back into the NHS to help provide care and emergency assistance for even more patients.
