Teachers in Berkshire are among some of the highest paid in the country, according to official figures. The average staff salary at Churchend Primary School Academy in Calcot is £48,823 a year, the ninth most in any school outside London. Research by Trinity Mirror’s data team revealed the 10 schools with the lowest and highest average pay across Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell. Derelict Grade II listed Market Hall in Holyhead to be saved as Anglesey …

An historic Welsh market hall which has been derelict for years and considered “the poorest condition civic building in Wales” is to be transformed. Anglesey Council will place a Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) on Holyhead’s Grade II Listed former Market Hall as part of its plans to run the town’s library from the building. Two new luxury homes in Priddis to go for sale by auction

Two brand-new luxury homes in Priddis are being marketed and sold through an auction process later this month. The two properties, by Calgary-based Homes by Bellia, have been on the market for less than two weeks and are listed for sale at $3.988 million and $2.898 million.
