Head of Parks at Sheffield City Council David Hargate is retiring after starting as an apprentice gardener in 1971. David is pictured at the botanical gardens on Clarkhouse Road. Green-fingered David Hargate is saying farewell to Sheffield’s parks and gardens after a ‘life-long love affair’.
