THE owner of a controversial new restaurant hopes to be open in time for the summer trade. Antonia Waite is converting the listed sun shelter in Western Esplanade, Westcliff, into a restaurant called Oyster Creek Kitchen. Plans submitted to convert former MMU Didsbury campus into 93 homes

Plans to build apartments and houses on a former Manchester Metropolitan Univeristy campus site in Didsbury have been submitted. The main Administration building on the 17-acre site will be converted into 19 apartments and 12 houses by The PJ Livesey Group, specialists in recreating heritage sites.
