Work begins on homes at site of former Isleworth convent

Work has begun on building nearly 100 homes at the site of a former convent beside the river in Isleworth. The Isleworth House site, in Richmond Road, was home to religious order The Sisters of Nazareth for more than a century and was better known as Nazareth House. A CAMPAIGNER battling to save David Hockney's historic former school from demolition has vowed to carry on his fight despite failing in a bid to get the building listed. Warsaw-listed GTC plans asset sale after impairments hit 2014
