Airbnb Goes Mainstream With Rio Olympic Contract

With an official contract to provide rooms for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, online home-rental marketplace Airbnb Inc is creating a model to solve accommodation problems at mega-events, co-founder Joe Gebbia said on Friday. Vancouver house sells for $567K over listed price

A Vancouver real estate agent who has just sold a home for $567,000 over its published listing price says that underlisting is an accepted selling strategy in the real estate market. "If the product's right, the timing's right and the inventory is right, it's the right strategy," Paul Eviston told CBC News. TSC slams FCA over "serious error"

The Treasury Select Committee (TSC) described the FCA’s briefing of a Daily Telegraph journalist about its review of the life insurance market ahead of publication as a “serious error” which sent the price of shares in a number of insurance companies – including Prudential and Aviva – tumbling.
