Lido future approved for King’s Meadow Baths

Plans for the redevelopment of the Edwardian public baths in King's Meadow have moved a step closer after the council agreed to go ahead with the lease of the land to Thames Lido. Rugby World Cup chiefs have warned fans not to buy tickets from unofficial sources amid exhorbitant pricing on ticket-sale websites.A category A ticket, which has a face value of £715, was up for sale on a secondary ticket website, StubHub.co.uk, for £59,000, roughly 82 times its original price.
