Ex-Liverpool FC commercial expert joins city’s latest hotel

A former commercial expert from Liverpool FC has been appointed sales manager at Liverpool’s latest hotel. Nicola Myers has joined DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spa Liverpool, which is due to open on Sir Thomas Street in April. The Grade II listed hotel was the municipal annexe of Liverpool City Council. 16 houses planned for site in Dundee

Land close to a former Dundee mill could be transformed into housing if plans are given the go-ahead. The proposed site of 16 homes sits south of Pitalpin House in Lochee, which was built in 1835 and was the home of James Donald, who made linens and art canvasses at the his mill next to the mansion. Historic Wallsend Town Hall refurbished as office space for businesses

A historic building is helping to support job creation in a town after being transformed into a conference and business centre. The Grade II-listed Wallsend Town Hall was built in 1908.
