SCRANTON — A downtown Scranton bar, Mert’s, is for sale for $175,000.

The open-floor-plan bar at Linden Street and Penn Avenue has 5,120 square feet of space.

The sale price includes rights to the Mert’s name, the liquor license, inventory, equipment and furniture, according to listing information from Nasser Real Estate.

The location became a bar in 2000 and was known as the Metro Lounge before becoming Mert’s.
