(Bloomberg) -- The Manhattan penthouse once home to Joan Rivers, the comedian and television personality who died last September, was listed for sale Monday at $28 million. The 5,100-square-foot (470-square-meter) triplex on Manhattan’s Upper East Side was owned by Rivers for 25 years, according to a brokerage listing by Leighton Candler of Corcoran Group. A £1.9m cash boost could be on its way to Kirklees Council with the sale of unused land and buildings. Nine lots are going under the hammer and they include a major development site in Mirfield plus a number of defunct public toilets.
