Country house property market year in review
When in the latter half of 2013, the country-house market appeared to slip into gear after five years in the doldrums, vendors and agents alike were hopeful that the pre-Christmas surge would carry through into the new Year and beyond. How a befriending role has improved my adult social work assessments
For the past 18 months I have befriended Martha*, a woman in her 70s who has dementia, through a befriending scheme run by Camden Age UK. One of my recent visits made me think a lot about how we practice social work.

Southsea’s South Parade Pier sale ‘completed’

The pier was closed in 2012 after it was deemed "a danger to the public"
The new owners of a derelict Victorian pier in Hampshire have said they aim to reopen the site this year and restore it to its "heyday".
South Parade Pier Ltd said it had purchased South Parade Pier in Southsea for an undisclosed sum.

If a recent update to the official Pan European Game Information (PEGI) website can be trusted, then it looks like Playdead’s puzzle-platformer Limbo might be coming to the PlayStation 4 in the near future.
