NEW CANAAN, Conn. – The New Canaan Police Department is investigating a Zillow.com ad offering to sell a Summer Street home for $24,000 as a possible scam, according to ncadvertiser.com. A woman saw the ad last month and emailed the person claiming to be the owner, who then asked for a small down payment to mail the keys via FedEx for her to look at the property, according to ncadvertiser.com. Controversial Lorton Lane development in Weymouth given green light

A CONTROVERSIAL development in Weymouth has been unanimously recommended for approval. In a meeting of Weymouth and Portland Borough Council’s planning and traffic committee on Wednesday, it was decided that proposals for 39 homes at the Old Rectory site in Lorton Lane, off Dorchester Road, should go ahead.
