KPMG and EY win major listed company audits

KPMG AND EY have won out as the latest batch of major listed company audit tenders has been decided. FTSE 250-listed Pennon Group, which provides water and sewerage services, has chosen EY to run its £1m audit. Another £1.3m in non-audit and advisory services were paid to its auditor PwC last year. The number of homes across Britain valued at £1m or more has increased by 49% over the past year, according to figures published on Tuesday. Living in a road of £1m-plus homes is no longer a badge of exclusivity. The property website Zoopla, which compiled the data, found that there are 3,744 streets in London where the price of homes is on average higher than £1m, and 10,613 across the country. Listed Bradford building could be demolished to cut crime at problem hotspot

A LISTED building could be knocked down in a move designed to cut crime at a problem hotspot where a "staggering" number of offences have been committed.
