Work starts on revamp of Grade I listed Acklam Hall

Twelve Capital completes $10m Dodeka III, third-event catastrophe bond
Zurich-based insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance-linked investment management firm Twelve Capital has announced the completion of its fourth privately placed catastrophe bond transaction, Dodeka III a $10m U.S. multi-peril deal.

Fears 51-home plan will harm Clavering’s historic castle site
FEARS for the future of Clavering's historic castle site have been highlighted by English Heritage in response to a bid to build 51 houses on neighbouring land at Pelham road.Gladman Homes, which has just been refused permission to build 120 homes in Thaxted, is now eyeing up farmland to the west of the village not previously identified by UDC as a potential development site. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Unity launches in October, but an online retailer has listed another new AC game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.Assassin’s Creed Unity, the latest title in the Assassin’s Creed game series, is due for a 28th October release, and you’d think that's enough to satiate your stealth killing desires.
