Brighton pub sale put on hold

The sale of a Brighton pub has been put on hold for six months after the council listed it as an “asset of community value”. The Rose Hill Tavern, in Rose Hill Terrace, closed on Sunday (18 May). Enterprise Inns, the owner of the 144-year-old pub, put it on the market. And Fleurets, a firm of chartered surveyors with an office in Boundary Road, Hove, put up a “for sale” sign outside. Danby vows to fight for his place

Transfer-listed goalkeeper John Danby wants to fight for his place, insisting he has no desire to leave the Blues. Steve Burr confirmed the 30-year-old had been made available for transfer on Monday, citing his wages as a factor in the decision. Homes for sale down sharply in the Denver metro area

The number of homes listed for sale in the Denver metro area in April was down 17.5 percent from April 2013, the fifth straight consecutive month of falling inventory, according to Alexa Fiander, spokeswoman for Zilllow.She said Wednesday that home values in the Denver metro area rose 7.4 percent in April compared to April 2013 with a national increase of 5.3 percent over the same period.Fiander said Denver metro home values are expected to rise 1.0 percent in the next 12 months according to the Read more [...]
