North Country lands 6 bass tourneys

PLATTSBURGH — The region has landed six professional bass tournaments for 2014.The events, hosted by the City of Plattsburgh and the Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau, start June 14 with the American Bass Anglers Weekend Bass Series. The last event, the Northern Bass Supply, is scheduled for Aug. 16.The tournaments are expected to attract about 2,000 anglers to the region, as well as family members and tournament support staff.
