South Florida’s housing market is cooling.The volume of existing home sales in South Florida slowed in November, the latest sign that the housing market is shifting to a more normal pace after a long stretch of torrid gains.While home and condo prices in Miami-Dade and Broward counties continue to post double-digit gains from 2012 levels, real-estate experts broadly agree that price increases will slow during 2014, just as sales are doing. Woolley Hall homes proposal on planning agenda

Proposals to create 47 homes at the site of an historic listed building off Westacott Way in Littlewick Green is due to go before councillors tonight. A Maidenhead development control panel is set to discuss plans from Millgate Homes to convert the Grade II-listed Woolley Hall into six homes. The proposals also include the conversion and extension of the site's stables and gate lodge into homes, along with the construction of 29 new houses and six mew-style homes on the land. Events are being planned nationwide to recognize Jan. 11 as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. An estimated 27 million people are trafficked globally on an annual basis, the largest percentage being women and children.
