Chuck Norris: ‘Texas Ranger’ home for sale

Chuck Norris is looking to downsize, and his Dallas home, often featured on "Walker, Texas Ranger," is on the market, and agent Rogers Healy has it listed for $1.2 million. The 7,362-square-foot home was also the residence of Texas Ranger Cordell Walker, played by Norris for eight seasons on CBS. The Mediterranean ranch-style home has four bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a theater and a gym, which includes memorabilia from the TV show. Their property has seen two busy open homes and 3000 views on Trade Me, all without the help of a real estate agent. Annabel and Elton McAleer listed their three-bedroom duplex at 2/80A Captain Scott Rd in Glen Eden, Auckland last Wednesday night. Within 24 hours, 1700 people had viewed it online. Ruth Quinn: hopes the races will increase opportunities for fillies and mares   PICTURE: Dan Abraham   THE BHA has added three new Listed races for mares to the 2013/14 Jumps black type programme, following positive indications from British and Irish sales houses regarding the sales prices of fillies. The new races include a 2m5f mares' hurdle race at Warwick in February and two mares' bumpers at Cheltenham in November and Huntingdon on Boxing Day. All three races are valued at £20,000. Care homes listed among high risk properties in new Welsh fire safety measures

From April 2014, care home developments in Wales will be required to comply with new fire safety legislation, installing fire sprinklers to protect both residents and firefighters during the event of a blaze. Though the Welsh Assembly has delayed some of its fire safety goals until 2016, care homes are named alongside new and converted halls of residence, boarding houses and hostels as high risk property that will have to comply two years earlier.
