Cvent Files For $100 Million IPO For Event Planning

Cvent, which provides cloud-based software to manage events, has filed for an initial public offering of up to $100 million. The McLean, VA-based company provides a cloud-based service for planning and managing events and has 30,000 event planners using the service, including free and paid users. Median single-family home price in Las Vegas continues to rise – Las Vegas Review

Statistics being released today by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors show existing home prices continuing to rise as the supply of houses available for sale also increased.  The median price of an existing single-family house sold in Southern Nevada during June was $175,000, up 2.9 percent from $170,000 in May and up 32.8 percent from $131,785 one year ago. House prices show no signs of falling: Royal LePage

TORONTO -- Home prices in Canada are showing no indications of falling this year, a survey by Royal LePage suggests. A report by the real estate company said the average prices for standard two-storey houses and detached bungalows went up 2.7 per cent in the second quarter of this year, compared with a year ago.
