Dunkirk City Council wants fire-damaged houses torn down

DUNKIRK – The City Council has decided that two properties that were the scene of recent fires should be torn down as soon as possible. At their regular meeting Tuesday in City Hall, Council members read notices from Code Enforcement Officer Al Zurawski, who inspected 128 Lincoln Ave. and 79 W. Doughty St. Neither owner has responded to notices from the city to clean up the properties.
