YONKERS, N.Y. – Nina Kozachynsky Winokurzew, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died Monday, June 17. She was 85.

Winokurzew was born Aug 5, 1927, in Ukraine. She worked as a seamstress for Elite Garments in Yonkers. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

How Many Foreclosure Homes Are There In Novato?

By David Mills and Jennifer SquiresThere are almost 200 foreclosure homes in Novato and they're selling for an average of $185,000 less than non-foreclosure houses.The latest report from Realty Trac shows 177 homes in some sort of foreclosure in Novato with eight of those houses for sale.The median sale price for foreclosure homes was $265,000 in April.
