West Bromwich Town Hall may take on The Public events role

It was revealed yesterday that Sandwell College is in talks with council bosses to turn the £72 million centre into a sixth-form for 500 A-Level students.And it is now proposed to move events to the larger town hall building if the takeover goes ahead. Intelligence Report Listed Marathon Finish as Potential Attack Site

An intelligence report of April 10 said that the April 15 Boston Marathon could be the site of a terrorist attack, the Los Angeles Times reports. The report, prepared by the Boston Regional Intelligence Center, said that the marathon finish line was "an area of increased vulnerability." Forest Green Road listed as worse affected by potholes

Forest Green Road has been listed as one of the worst roads to be affected by potholes in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the last year. Figures obtained from a Freedom of Information request show the number of pothole repairs undertaken by the council almost doubled in the last financial year as harsh weather took its toll.
