House Energy Costs Should Be Listed In All Real Estate Transactions: Report
A new report suggests requiring energy costs of a house to be listed in all real-estate transactions would one way of encouraging people to develop "net-zero houses", or residences that generate as much energy as they use over the course of a year.
The authors say most people probably don't know how much energy their house consumes, even though home energy expenditures often account for a larger share of the household budget.
