North Texas housing market still lagging sales inventory in February

The number of houses for sale in North Texas is at the lowest level since 2001. (Getty Images) The standoff between potential North Texas home sellers and eager buyers continued in February. The number of preowned houses listed for sale in the area was down 21 percent from February 2012 with the number of homes on the market remaining at the lowest level in more than a decade.
