Galway gatherings get going

Almost 200 events have been created in County Galway as part of The Gathering celebrations for 2013. Among the 183 events currently listed on The Gathering website, www.thegatheringireland.com, are well-established events that are using the initiative to reconnect with past participants, such as the Renmore Pantomime, which runs until Sunday 13 January at Town Hall Theatre. The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour continues its expansion into North Carolina with three events scheduled for the coming year. The three tournaments listed are March 2-3 at Lochmere Golf Club in Cary, April 27-28 at N.C. State University’s Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, and Sept. 21-22 at Fox Den Country Club in Charlotte.
