RIL gets listed on Dubai Mercantile Exchange

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has got listed on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), becoming the first major Indian company to participate directly in global oil futures market. RIL got listed on DME yesterday as the 26th off floor (overseas) member. Home-sales pace rises in August

Homes in the U.S. sold at the fastest clip in more than a year last month, new data show, a testament to the strength of the housing recovery this year.

The median time a home was listed for sale was 69 days in July, a 29.6 percent plunge from the same month just a year ago, according to data from the National Association of Realtors.

Westmont listed as having confirmed human case of West Nile virus

The DuPage County Health Department said on Tuesday there are now 12 reported cases of humans contracting West Nile virus. Among the communities where there have been human cases reported are Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Villa Park and Westmont. Those affected range in age fro their 20s into their 70s, and one person has died from West Nile virus, according to the DuPage County Health Department.
