Mowbray College in Melbourne’s west listed for sale

The receivers of Mowbray College, a private school in Melbourne’s west that entered into voluntary administration last month with debts of $18 million, have listed the three campuses for sale. Sal Algeri of Deloitte has appointed Fitzroys, in conjunction with CBRE, to sell the school's three campuses. David Bourke of Fitzroys says the three campuses had extensive improvements that could be adapted for community and immediate educational uses. Jewish settler attacks on Palestinians listed as ‘terrorist incidents’ by US

Listed companies’ H1 profits down 14%

Thai listed companies reported first-half profits of 344 billion baht, down by 13.6% year-on-year as a result of rising costs, says the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Sales, however, rose by 13.4% in the first half from the same period last year. The results represent first-half figures from 447 listed companies or 93.7% of the companies on the bourse.
