AFH Financial acquires IFA fined for Ucis sales for £100k

Plus-listed financial advice firm AFH Financial has acquired an IFA which was fined last year by the regulator over its sale of unregulated collective investment schemes (Ucis) for £100,000. AFH has acquired Cheltenham-based Specialist Solutions, which was fined £35,000 by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in April last year for mis-selling Ucis to clients between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2009. For residents in River Hills, there’s a relatively recent addition to the July 4 calendar afoot. The Fourth of July Bike Parade begins at 10 a.m. with decoration taking place the hour prior at the River Hills Community Church parking lot. Dallas resident Brittany Hill, 26, is accused of trying to sell her newborn. NBC Dallas- A Dallas mother is suspected of trying to sell her newborn in a classified ad. On Saturday, Dallas Police identified the mother as 26-year-old Brittany Hill.  She was arrested Friday. Hill faces a charge of Child Abandonment.
