City hopes to sell off listed buildings

A LISTED stable block and cemetery chapel are among buildings set to be sold by the city council. The authority wants to declare the Bulwell Hall stable block and Basford Cemetery Chapel as surplus to requirements. The move could save tens of thousands of pounds in maintenance costs, while it is hoped the buildings could be given a facelift.
