King County home prices rise for a second month

House prices rose in May in King County for the second straight month, according to statistics release Monday by the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. The median price of single-family homes sold last month was $362,000, up 0.6 percent from April and a more impressive 4.9 percent from May 2011. 44 homes to be included in hospital redevelopment

FORTY-FOUR new homes will be built as part of the 8.7million redevelopment of Townlands Hospital in Henley. There will be 32 assisted-living properties for the elderly, a mixture of one- and two-bedroom homes. Another 12 will be for key workers at the new 18-bed hospital and 64-bed care home.
