‘Brutalist’ main building at St Fagans museum given listed status

SOME people believe the main building at the National History Museum of Wales in St Fagans is a prime example of “1960s brutalist” architecture that deserves to be demolished. But the Welsh Government’s heritage body Cadw disagrees, and has given it listed building protection. School short-listed for science honours

A primary school has been short-listed for a Rolls-Royce science prize after impressing judges with its ideas of promoting the subject in schools. Sandfield Close Primary, in Rushey Mead, submitted two proposals.
