Plans to build 14 homes next to listed building in Cobham

Fourteen new homes could be built next to a Grade II listed building in Cobham. Claremont Court Investments Ltd has applied to develop land to the north east of the NY Bar Grill in Portsmouth Road, which was formerly known as the Vermont Exchange and originally the White Lion Hotel. The company wants to build seven four-bedroom houses and seven two-bedroom apartments on the site, which is currently used as a car park.
