Sports tourism committee touts benefit to Chesterfield

Latchmere House could become listed building

DUE to its rich history, Latchmere House could be classed as a listed building once it closes next month.

Earlier this year the Ministry of Justice announced that the resettlement jail, in Ham, would close in September along with Brockhill Prison, in the West Midlands, to save £4.9m this year and an ongoing annual saving of £11.4m.
