Burton Manor sale is given Government approval

On June 13, City Councilman Larry Atencio voted against a new property maintenance code that had drawn an overflow crowd to council chambers, many of whom backed the new code aimed at fixing up rundown vacant buildings, rental property and large commercial businesses.    Those backers were urged to attend the meeting by Lori Winner, a local resident whose website, Pueblo House of Shame, has built a following by listing problem houses and properties.    Read more [...]

YORK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — The house where Rich Rodriguez lived while coaching the University of Michigan football team is up for sale for a shade under $2 million. The 5,680-quare-foot house is about 10 miles south of Michigan Stadium in Washtenaw County's York Township. Rodriguez led the Wolverines for three seasons before his firing in January.
