The overall Newport Beach home market -- beach communities, Corona del Mar and Newport Coast -- had 852 residences listed for sale as of Jun 9 with 105 new deals opening in the past 30 days. That means, by one theory, it would take 8.11 months to sell all inventory at current pace of new escrows in the Newport region vs. 3.66 months countywide. Tax sale called success

The Summit County auditor's office announced on Wednesday it had successfully sold all five properties available at its tax sale in May. Over 90 properties were originally listed for sale by Summit County due to failure to pay taxes. Only five of these properties were still available the day of the sale; owners of the other 85 properties had paid the owed taxes or fees prior to the May 26 public auction. Sebi asks promoters of all listed firms to dematerialise holding

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has made it mandatory for promoters of all listed companies to hold shares in the demat form only. Companies will have to comply with the new norms before the end of September. According to data, promoters of 2,644, or nearly 50 per cent listed companies, still hold shares in physical form.
